$300 / Boat — Up to 6 anglers. Registration opens September 11 at noon and closes at 9 PM. Online only.

Captain's Choice Tournament

The 2026 Holden Beach King Classic is a captain's choice format — meaning you pick your best day on the water. Fish Saturday or Sunday, and weigh in just one king mackerel per tournament day.

Declare your fishing day by 6:30 AM Saturday, September 12. The heaviest qualifying king mackerel wins. Secondary prizes are awarded for Junior, Lady, and Senior anglers on board.

This tournament is presented by Brunswick County Charity Tournaments, Inc., a 501(c)(3) non-profit corporation born from the Capt. Aaron Medlin Benefit Tournament held in 2025. All tournament proceeds are distributed to those in need in Brunswick County.
